Punjabi Sahit Sabha

The Punjabi Sahit Sabha is a literary and cultural forum that promotes Punjabi language, literature, and heritage. It provides student teachers a platform for reading, writing, and creative expression, fostering pride in the mother tongue and awareness of Punjab’s cultural traditions.

Objectives of the Club :

The objectives of the club shall be

  • To promote the Punjabi language and literature among student teachers.
  • To encourage reading, writing, and critical appreciation of Punjabi literary works.
  • To provide opportunities for creative expression through poetry, short stories, essays, and drama.
  • To develop awareness of Punjab’s rich cultural, social, and literary heritage.
  • To instill confidence in students by offering a platform for public speaking and literary discussions.
  • To nurture literary talent and prepare students for inter-college literary events.
  • To strengthen cultural identity and promote love for Punjabi traditions.
