Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle

The Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle is a value-based forum that inspires student teachers through the life and teachings of sikh gurus. It promotes moral values, spiritual awareness, social responsibility, and leadership, encouraging students to follow the path of truth, justice, and selfless service.

Objectives of the Club :

The objectives of the club shall be

  • To spread awareness about the teachings and philosophy of Sikh Gurus.
  • To develop moral character, ethical living, and spiritual strength among students.
  • To encourage students to engage in community service and humanitarian activities.
  • To provide a platform for discussions, seminars, and discourses on Sikh philosophy and history.
  • To cultivate respect for cultural and spiritual traditions while preparing students to be responsible citizens.

  • Members – All interested students who wish to participate in value-based learning and service activities

Activities of the Club:

  • Seminars, Talks, and Workshops on Sikh Philosophy and Teachings
  • Gurbani Recitation and Kirtan Programmes
  • Essay Writing, Poetry, and Speech Competitions on Sikh History and Values
  • Awareness Drives on Social Issues (drug abuse, gender equality, environmental care, etc.)
  • Community Service Camps (Langar Sewa, Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, Cleanliness Drives)
  • Celebration of Important Sikh Gurpurabs and Events
  • Inter-college/Inter-school Quizzes and Debates on Sikhism and Social Values
  • Publication of articles, newsletters, or magazines promoting moral and spiritual education
