In observance of Earth Day on April, 22, 2025, NSS Unit, Eco Club and Madam Marie Curie Science Club of G.H.G. Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana hosted a "Cooking Without Fire" competition to promote environmental sustainability, creativity, and healthy eating habits among students. The event aimed to raise awareness about reducing carbon footprints and conserving energy through innovative, no-cook recipes. Over 22 students from various courses participated in the event forming 11 teams of two members each. Entries were evaluated based on taste, creativity, presentation, nutritional value, and adherence to the theme of sustainability. The competition was judged by a panel comprising of three senior faculty members which includes Dr. Manu Chadha, Dr. Jasleen Kaur and Dr. Jasvir Kaur.?
