Theme: "Dheeyan Di Lohri" ? Celebrating the Girl Child 1. Introduction GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar, celebrated the Lohri Festival 2025 with great enthusiasm on January 16, 2025. The event, organized by the M.Ed. 1st and 2nd-year students, was held under the guidance of their teacher-in-charges, Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Dr. Jasvir Kaur, Dr. Manpreet Kaur, and Mr. Sukchain Singh. This year?s theme, "Dheeyan Di Lohri" (Lohri of the Girl Child), aimed to promote gender equality and celebrate the birth of daughters. The festival not only upheld traditional customs but also conveyed a strong social message of valuing and honoring girl children.
