G.H.G Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar organized its Annual Prize Distribution and farewell function on April 9, 2022 under the able guidance of Principal, Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha. The event was graced by Mrs. Saravjit Kaur Manuke, Member of Punjab Legislative Assembly, Jagraon as Chief Guest. The function commenced with the recitation of College Shabad. A warm and hearty welcome was extended by Principal Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha to the Chief Guest and the other guests present on the occasion which was followed by presentation of college report in which he highlighted the achievement of students in academics, sports and cultural arena.
Prizes for academic, co-curricular and sports achievements were distributed among the students for the session 2020-21, 2021-22. A cultural programme was also organized on the occasion in which students of B.Ed and M.Ed gave mesmerizing performance on the group dance and singing events.
In his presidential address, Mrs. Saravjit Kaur Manuke congratulated the young achievers and wished them best of luck by saying that the responsibility of spreading education lies on their shoulder .She further said that the a teacher is a role model for his/her students and there is no substitute for a knowledgeable and learned teacher. College, Kamalpura, Dr. Kawaljeet Singh Sohi, Dr. Baljinder Singh, S. Gurnaib Singh and Ms. Karmjit Kaur. Dr. Manu Chadha, Associate Prof. in the college presented vote of thanks.
